Bear Hunt SEO

Bear Hunt SEO is a private search performance reporting application operated by iLikeStores Ltd. It helps our authorised administrators understand how our websites appear in Google Search.

What the application does

With permission from an authorised Google account, Bear Hunt reads Google Search Console performance data for website properties that account can access. Reports may include search queries, landing pages, clicks, impressions, click-through rates and average search positions. This information supports internal SEO monitoring and research for iLikeStores' websites.

Why Google permission is requested

Bear Hunt requests Google's read-only Search Console permission (webmasters.readonly) to retrieve performance reports. This Google connection does not grant permission to edit search properties, submit site changes or alter website content. Access is limited to authorised staff who sign into the separate iLikeStores Manager system.

How Google account data is handled

Authorised Search Console data is used for internal reporting and analysis, not sold or used for advertising targeting. Google OAuth credentials are held securely on the iLikeStores server. Access can be withdrawn in your Google Account's third-party connections. See our privacy policy for information about storage, retention, deletion requests and rights.
